One day, when I was at a farm of a friend, I had a crow land on my shoulder at their house. At first I was kind of scared and tried to get it off. It would only switch shoulders and land on me again. It didn’t leave for over two hours, and even came into the house and had supper with about 7 other people.
As I ate supper, it was taking corn or bites of bread. It muttered words now and then. Afterwards, when it was time for us to leave, it flew off my shoulder and on to the barn roof. I swear it said thanks.
The people who owned the farm had never seen the crow before, and had certainly never seen one come in for supper. They called me the animal spirit and communicator. I was 7 or 8 at the time. They later said that they never saw the crow again.
